Tourism Regulation Management in Increasing the Real Income of Sampang District

While Sampang Regency has many potential tourist attractions that could be developed to increase Real Regional Income (RRI), tourism in Sampang Regency has not been empowered optimally. These complex problem variables can be effectively addressed if special regulations are established as a legal framework for tourism in the area. Therefore, it is important to examine various problems and obstacles to tourism development in Sampang Regency to identify solutions and formulate them into regulations. This study employs a normative legal research methodology, focusing on laws and rules pertaining to regional tourism development. This study aims to examine the issues surrounding the tourism growth, particularly in relation to the regulations of Sampang Regency. The findings indicate that Sampang Regency currently lacks regional laws that explicitly serve as the legal framework for the travel and tourism industry. In addition, a clear long-term plan for the empowerment of Sampang Regency's tourism industry must be developed.
